Corfu by air

The island of Corfu is an impressive massive of culture and civilisation and of gorgeous nature that flourishes on it. The first time you see it from the plane you are amazed by its shape and by its clear waters. The airport hosts all the Corfu flights as the air is one of the two ways of reaching the island. You go there either by water of by air. The last resort is for sure the most comfortable one.

Once you get to the airport a new and strange world unfolds. It is nothing like the Greek mainland because it has that powerful influence of the British that once lived there. The people speak that wonderful English with a perfect accent so that you know that they were sometime not so Greek. However the joyous spirit of Greece is really good for all of us to encounter and to celebrate.

The narrow roads may by any chance open the mind to a large sea. Wherever you look there is the beautiful sea and the resorts are full of people. Actually they life only for tourism as there is little else to do here. The Mediterranean aspect of the place is wonderful and the fact that people are totally relaxed gives a nice a beautiful sense of freedom, calmness, joy and peace.
