Cies Islands, The Islands of the Gods
In northern Spain (Galicia) are located Cies Islands, which were called by the Romans as The Islands of the Gods, being a paradise where you can enjoy nature and the sea, while the main beach of the Cies Islands was chosen as the best in the world for the American newspaper the Guardian. Cies Islands consist of three islands located off the coast of Vigo, in the Rias Baixas in Galicia, part of the National Park of Atlantic Islands, highlighting its scenery, beaches with fine white sand and its rich seabed.
To preserve the Cies Islands, has limited the number of visitors to 2,200 people a day. Visit the Cies Islands: During periods of good weather, such as Easter, the weekend of May and during the summer there are regular boats leaving from the towns of Vigo, Baiona and Cangas de Morrazo.
