The Giralda Tower in Seville

Visit Seville is something that almost forced to stop by the old Arab mosque’s minaret, known more popularly as the Giralda of Seville, a true icon of the city, which was finished in the sixteenth century with the bell tower and the pavilions decreasing Giraldillo.

The Giralda of Seville was built in the twelfth century the Almohad period, having a height of 97.5 meters, being declared as National Heritage in the year 1928 and in 1987 a World Heritage Site.

Really Giralda in Seville is the name given to the bell tower of the Cathedral of Santa Maria, located on German Street s / n (41001 Sevilla) and visited at times perfectly:

From September 1 to June 30:
Monday to Saturday from 11:00 to 17:00 hours, Sundays from 14:30 to 18:30.
From 1 July to 31 August:
Monday to Saturday from 09:30 to 16:00, Sunday from 14:30 to 18:00 hours.
The price of admission is free for children 2 euros entry and 8 euros reduced general admission.
